This dealer event was a conference with evening dinner and a special appearance by Spandau Ballet as the band for the evening.

The stage and set design and build provided no more of a challenge to Square One than the usual conference stage hire projects that they work on all year around but then came the car!! The venue the conference was held at made it impossible to drive the show car on to the staging that had been purpose built for it and so another solution had to be found.

With a 2.1 ton concept car to lift into place on a 1.1 meter high stage without touching the exterior bodywork Square One had to put their thinking caps on and go back to basics with good old fashioned man power.

It took 12 men and hour and a half to pull the Peugeot car, by whatever means possible, on to the stage – a real challenge for the team on site who showed themselves to be much more than worthy.

Luckily when the event was over the venue allowed the car to be driven back down, to the relief of all concerned, which took considerably less time and effort on their part.
